Randy Newman on Jimmy Fallon
Randy made his first appearance on the new Tonight Show in New York City. Randy welcomed Jimmy Fallon (a self-confessed super fan of Randy) and the show back to New York with a fantastic performance of I Love L.A. (with help from The Roots).

Library of Congress Visit
The Library of Congress welcomed Randy for a visit and performance. Selected materials had been pulled for his viewing, including the original sheet music for the Citizen Kane score, Rhapsody in Blue, symphonies by Beethoven and Stravinsky, as well as a number of Randy's works in various media.

Stravinsky's perfectly handwritten musical notation prompted Randy to comment, "What a cocky bastard!"
